The Journal of Tobacco Use Insights is a journal focused on tobacco use and its impact on health, designed to provide in-depth analysis and research, increase public awareness of the dangers of tobacco, and promote the implementation of tobacco control policies. Tobacco use is a global health problem that kills more than 8 million people each year, according to the World Health Organization, including an estimated 1.3 million non-smokers who are exposed to secondhand smoke. This demonstrates the serious impact of tobacco use on the health of individuals and societies and the urgent need to raise public awareness.

Secondly, the Chinese government attaches great importance to the issue of tobacco control.
