Information Processing In Agriculture aims to promote the development of agricultural information technology science and technology. The journal, hosted by China Agricultural University, encourages the application of knowledge and methods of information processing technology in agriculture, sharing experiences and results from research institutes, universities and governments, as well as favorable technologies.
The journal provides a platform for information processing researchers worldwide to exchange knowledge, strategies and experiences, and facilitates interaction among agricultural scientists, meteorologists, biologists (pathologists/entomologists), IT professionals and other stakeholders to jointly develop and implement methods, techniques and tools related to agricultural information processing technologies. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, smart sensors and wireless sensor networks, remote sensing, simulation, optimization, modeling and automatic control, decision support systems, intelligent systems and artificial intelligence, computer vision and image processing, food quality inspection and traceability, precision agriculture and smart instrumentation, Internet of Things and cloud computing, big Data and data mining.
