近些年，随着全球化的进一步深化，越来越多的国外电影被引进并呈现在国内观众眼前，而影视翻译就显得特别重要因此也备受重视，在影视翻译中，电影片名的翻译是影视翻译的精华之所在，是吸引观众眼球的最直观因素。特别是目前电影行业竞争越来越激烈的情况下，一部好的电影片名能直接影响到影片艺术性的展示以及最终的商业收益，因此对电影片名翻译的考究是势在必行。

因此本文尝试从目的论原则出发，以2009-2011年间在中国收视率较高的美国大片片名的汉译来分析在目的论指导下的翻译方法和策略，以说明在目的论指导下应采用何种翻译策略，如何运用这些翻译策略让译文达到预期的效果，并最终取得较好的商业效益。

二、目的论

翻译目的论的建立可以追溯到20世纪六七十年代，该理论是由德国学者弗米尔提出的，1978年在他发表的《普通翻译理论框架》一书中，首先提出注重社会交际功能的翻译目的论。目的论认为，翻译是一种有目的的跨文化交际行为，它首要关注的是译作的目的，这个目的决定了译者需要采用何种翻译方法和策略，才能产生功能上可满足需要的结果（杰里米?芒迪，2007:112）。目的论包含三大原则，即“目的原则”、“连贯原则”和“忠诚原则”。其中“目的原则”是最高原则，其他两项属于从属地位，即目的决定手段（杰里米?芒迪，2007:113）。这一规则解决了长久以来电影片名到底该直译，意译，归化还是异化等等这些翻译研究中的两难问题。因为目的论认为在翻译过程中，译者应该根据译文的目的，按照译文特定的原则对原文进行特殊处理，并可能要用到多种翻译方法和策略以实现译文的目的。

三、目的论在电影片名翻译中的应用

3.1电影片名作为一种特殊文体，其特点主要在于语言简明，并具有很强的说服力，能激起人们的观赏欲（谢新云，2007），因此电影片名翻译的目的是为了在实现电影名一般艺术价值的基础上，更好的发挥其商业价值，所以基于此目的的任何一种翻译方法都可以被采用。下文中，笔者将选取2009-2010年两年间在中国收视率较高的美国大片作为材料来分析成功的美国大片片名在目的论指导下常见的翻译方法，并通过数据分析得出英语电影片名汉译的一些规律。

3.1.1直译法。电影片名的直译是根据原语和译语的语言特点和修辞特点。力图再现原语片名的内容和形式。（张必刚、夏宏钟，2008）。因此当原片名能够直接运用直译法而达到让观赏者了解形式和内容时，此翻译不失为简单而行之有效的方法，如2009年收视率较高的“Ice age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”《冰河世纪：恐龙的黎明》，“Angel and Demons”《天使与恶魔》。又如2010年的“Despicable Me”《卑鄙的我》，“The Last Air bender”《最后的气宗》，“The Sorcerers Apprentice”《魔法师的学徒》等。这些翻译都直接点出了电影的内容，能够很直观的吸引观众的眼球。

3.1.2意译法。由于中西方的语言文化，思维方式等存在很大差异，分属于不同的语言文化体系，大多数词或词组的意义或功能不完全对等或完全不对等，如果一味的直译，最终反而会造成晦涩难懂，造成跨文化交际的障碍，这个时候就需要通过增译，减译，转换的方式来传达片名的信息并保留原片名的艺术性，如2010年中国收视率名列前几名的“Inception”意译成《盗梦空间》，这是因为译者将“Inception”意译成《盗梦空间》打破了中国的传统观念，在中国传统观念中，梦是虚无缥缈的东西，如何能够盗取呢？片名的翻译激发了观众的好奇心理，该片片名的成功翻译也不失为其在中国收视率高的重要原因之一。

3.1.3直译与意译合法。这种译法介于直译与意译之间，既能保留原片名的一些成分，又添加了一些能吸引译入语观众眼球的因素，如“Toy Story”《玩具总动员》，此翻译不仅点出了影片的内容是关于玩具的，而且把“story”意译成总动员，富有动态美的观感，更能激发观众的观感欲。

从上面电影片名的数据统计分析，可以看出，在近两年英文电影片名翻译中，直译的翻译方法远远低于意译的翻译方法，这一结果也证实了在英文电影片名汉译中，忠实原则是让位与目的原则的，片名翻译的目的最终决定了在翻译过程中到底是采取直译，意译亦或是直译意译相结合的翻译方法。

大家好！我是五（一）班的yuyuy，今天我演讲的题目是《迎奥运，文明出行我参与》，现在我想请大家闭上眼睛，和我一起穿越时空隧道，来重温一个美好而难忘的日子。2001年7月13日，那个让所有中国人不眠的夜晚。当国际奥委会主席萨马兰奇爷爷用平和的声音向全世界宣布 第29届奥运会主办城市是北京时，全场沸腾了，北京沸腾了。人们欢呼雀跃，载歌载舞。

时光飞逝，如今，残奥会正紧锣密鼓的进行着。全世界的目光将齐聚北京，而北京也将以主人的身份，展现她最美丽的风采！北京做过一项网上调查：担心奥运期间会出现人多车挤现象的有79。7%，担心会堵车的有60。1%。我在思考着这样一个问题，作为一名普通的公民，在迎接奥运会到来的日子里，我们能为奥运做点什么呢？我的脑海里常常出现这样的情景：宽阔畅通的道路上没有违章，没有抢行，没有拥堵，没有急噪的汽笛声，行人车辆各行其道、相互礼让，同学们高高兴兴地上学，父母们安安心心地工作，到处是一片祥和、安全、温馨的画面。但每天上学放学，常常有这样的场景映入我的眼帘：有人乱穿马路、自行车不看信号灯、机动车强行超速，人们为了抢出几秒钟的时间，而发生争吵，甚至会发生一起起残不忍睹的交通事故……

同学们，当你骑着车在马路上追逐，当你与伙伴在马路上玩耍时，你是否想过危险就在身边；当你的亲朋好友不顾一切乱穿马路、闯红灯的时候，你可想到这时的死神正在向他们招手……你知不知道这些会带来什么？是伤？是残？是死？是痛苦？是悲剧？是一个破碎的家庭？据调查：在中小学生的伤亡事故中，车祸造成的原因是第一位的。这其中固然有驾驶员违章造成的因素。但其中也不乏学生不遵守交通规则而引发的悲剧。 血的事实告诉我们： 人的生命只有一次，为了你、我、他的安全，让我们行动起来，争做文明出行的宣传者和实践者。如乘车时，先下后上，主动为老人让座；自觉遵守交通信号，不乱闯红灯，不跨越护栏，不横穿马路；文明行驶，照章停靠等等。

我今天演讲的题目是《迎奥运做文明礼仪好学生》。礼仪是无处不在的，它可以表现出一个人的道德修养，它可以增进人与人之间的友谊，它的作用太多太多了。在这阳春三月，春意浓浓、生机勃勃，意味着我们该有一个崭新面貌。

那么怎样才能使小学生礼仪洋溢在美丽的校园里呢？我们小学生要着装得体，符合学生身份，体现出新世纪学生篷勃向上的风采，因为仪表、仪容、仪态可以让人一看便知道你的修养。升旗仪式，最为庄严。这凝聚了文明与热血的国旗，在礼仪的包围中更显得鲜艳。此时此刻，国旗下的我们要严肃认真、精神饱满、高唱国歌，不负于“礼仪之邦”这个美誉。

课堂礼仪对老师的教学影响很大，它直接关系着一个班的荣誉与凝聚力，体现这个班的班风班貌。校园礼仪就更重要了，下课后的休息时间，不随地吐痰、乱扔纸屑、不拿粉笔头玩、上下楼梯一律右行、见老师和客人要用普通话主动问好。我们还应该爱护花草树木和一切设施，不穿越绿化带，爱护清洁卫生，服从老师管理和接受值周学生的批评劝阻。受到老师的帮助，应主动诚恳地说谢谢。同学之间也离不开礼仪，它就像油，使粗糙的磨擦消迹，如果有矛盾，多进行自我反省。互相理解、宽容待人。培养较强的协作精神，这样使班级更团结、友谊更深厚。

在全国都在迎奥运的时刻，全中国都弥漫着文明礼貌的芳香，我们要做文明礼仪好学生。而这些芳香正来自于各种花朵，你，便是他们中的一份子，相信自己，我们一定能行。

我们将挑起传承礼仪的使命，无负于未来，无负于这教育我们的美丽校园。为迎接2008北京奥运做一个文明礼仪的好学生!
