1.引言
1.1关于课题
随着全球化的深入推进,跨文化交际越来越广泛。问候语,作为交流活动不可或缺的组成部分,也扮演着越来越重要的角色。然而,受社会环境、传统风俗等差异的影响,对问候语的误解在所难免,给人们带来了诸多困扰。
自20世纪70年代以来,学者们陆续从语用失误角度对中英问候语的差异进行了研究,取得了丰硕的成果。然而,社会在发展,人们的价值观念、生活环境也在演变,问候语的内容和形式必然会随之变化。因此,这一课题有待进一步研究,期望本文能带来一些有价值的信息。
1.2语用失误
语用失误这一概念最早是由英国语言学家詹尼·托马斯于1982年提出来的,指在跨文化交际过程中因文化差异所引起的语言表达失误。1983年,托马斯在《跨文化语用失误》一文中给语用失误做出了明确的定义,将语用失误划分为语用语言失误和社交语用失误。

2.从语用失误看中英问候语差异的表现
2.1中西方的问候方式之比较
在中国,人们问候他人时一般会说“吃饭了吗?”“去哪儿啊?”,这一类的问候语句型简单、固定,几乎适用于任何情境。有时说话人甚至会“明知故问”,比如遇见要去上班的人,会说“上班去呀?”,碰到正在照顾孩子的人,会说“看孩子呢?”。此类问候语则较具体,依听话人所处的实际情境而定,往往问得越具体,越能体现对他人的关心。

In my opinion, Joan must have some military ability to lead the whole army, because of her unusual image, Joan became more confident to the success. It let Joan had the will to be successful. So the success before did not happen by accident,. After some battles, Joan said that she had lost her support from the saints, but actually this didn’t mind. The more important thing was that she had lost her confidence and will, so she lost the battle at last.

Based on Mark Twain's novel, 'The Millionaire Pound Note' takes an interesting satirical look at the hypocrisy stemming from class distinction in the 50s England. England is a country where class and wealth are given extreme significance, especially among the rich. The film shows the hypocrisy that existed among these people, how the rich are quick to change face when in an instant they find out that you're a man of wealth and how within the next moment they revert back to their condescending selves when all wealth is lost. Interestingly, 'The Millionaire' also briefly looks at how the English perceived Americans in that era. Rich Americans were welcomed as outsiders and the poor were quickly shunned away. The fact that he's an outsider either makes him more appealing or the complete opposite. The story sticks to the main theme by emphasizing on the hypocrisy of the upper class society but at the same time it also creates a balance that prevents the movie from being a mockery of the British society. The movie drags at some point but the love story appears at the right time and there is plenty of comedy to keep one entertained. A charming Gregory Peck totally nails the part and the luminous Jane Griffiths is a treat. Reginald Beckwith, as Peck's sidekick Rock is amusing. The ending is a little predictable but the director does an overall good job by rounding it up and presenting his points.

一、了解后进生形成的原因
可以从两个方面来分析后进生的成因。
一是学习方法问题。不切合学生实际和语言学习规律的教学,实质上是学习困难学生形成的主要原因,他们的形成往往是一个长期的学习不适应过程。根据学生的学习和认知的循序渐进性规律,过去的学习是现在学习的基础,现在的学习又是今后学习的基础。了解学习困难学生的学习基础,分析造成学习困难的原因是有效开展针对性教学的前提。通过调查摸底,分析部分学生英语学习困难的原因主要如下:
A 类:觉得经常记忆英语单词、语法、句型、结构等枯燥烦琐,缺乏兴趣去识记,不能坚持养成朗读、记忆的良好习惯。
B 类:因为基础相对差,听课较为吃力,跟不上正常教学步骤,考试成绩不理想,伤害自尊心,产生自卑心理,因而惧怕上英语课。
C类:由于不适应老师的课堂教学方式及课堂教学中易被忽视,甚至时而受到批评,对英语学习产生了抵触情绪,严重者变成与英语教师的对立。
D类:学习习惯较差,自控能力差,不愿花时间去预习、复习和读记,导致学习效率低下,成绩掉队。
二是学习心理问题。
这些学生平时对待英语学习表现出畏难、自卑、退缩等心理状态。老师不仅要从教学上加以研究,做到因人施教,还要在情感上对困难学生多一份关爱,尊重他们,与他们真正建立起和谐的师生关系。了解困难学生是教育、转化他们的起点,是关心他们的基础,也是他们自我认识的保证。
二、对策
过度焦虑可能是“困难”学生语言学习中最大的情感障碍。有时候,我们教师一个不经意的表情、动作或严厉的言辞往往会触发学生的焦虑心理,而周围小伙伴们对他的否定批评更会加剧这种焦虑程度。学生带着紧张恐慌的心理上课,其思维活动就会自然受到一定限制,注意力就易分散。
1.针对心理弱点,激发后进生自信心和上进心。
①给予理解和信任
作为教师,我们应正确对待后进生,对于他们与其他同学的差距表示理解。同时还要有极大的耐心、宽容心、同情心和爱心、不歧视、不讨厌、不排斥他们。同时,还要教育其他同学给予他们理解、支持、关心,并帮助他们,以满腔的热情积极引导他们共同参与到英语学习中,相信他们与其他同学一样能学好。给他们以极大的信任和理解,激发他们奋发向上的学习精神。
②让后进生拥有成功的体验
成功最能鼓励学生进一步努力追求。后进生因为学习差容易产生自卑感,不敢也不愿回答问题,怕出错误,怕同学和老师笑话他们。所以作为一名英语教师,我在教学中常借助于手势、实物、图片、情景设计等直观形式,启发引导后进生的思考。笔者以前有个学生既聪明又调皮,但他的英语模仿能力很差,许多单词发音都不准确,每次课堂上开火车读单词,同学们都会为他与众不同的发音而哄堂大笑,他后来就干脆不读了。课后,我找他谈话,他说他语音不好,常被同学们取笑,所以不喜欢上英语课。

不同阶段的后进生个性特征具有一定的共性,但更有各自的个性。我们教师要根据不同年龄阶段的后进生个性实施不同的教学方法,依据不同类型的能力、性格特征进行教学策略上的调整,对每一个后进生都给予耐心细致的指导。如有的后进生太自以为是,要挫一下他的锐气;而有的则喜欢老师的经常性表扬。
因材施教原则的实质是合理安排教学内容或任务的难度。教师既不能过高也不能过低估计后进生的个性发展水平,而应当在“最近发展区”的理念指导下,为后进生安排恰当的教学内容,创造学习的最佳条件。每一名后进生的基础、理解力、非智力因素等方面都存在着个体差异。因此,尽管都是后进生,但对知识的掌握也不一样。所以,我们必须针对不同的后进生,因人而异,因材施教,对他们进行有针对性地个别辅导。对于听力较差的,应督促其跟录音磁带听、读。对于记不住单词、短语的,应发动“一帮一”小组,培养小老师,以“优”带“差”,督促他们每天坚持记适量的单词、短语。对于语法不懂的,老师应有针对性地对他们讲解习题、试卷。在教学中,对后进生适当降低难度,从最基础的知识抓起,只有当他们体会到学会知识的喜悦,他们才会愿意学英语,才会喜欢学习英语,从而提高学习英语的效率和成绩。
